Philosophy and Manifesto

Innovation

Innovation, for me, is essentially a knowledge-based, trial-and-error iteration. I place my trust in solid research and rapid prototyping, grounded in facts and numbers.

I craft solutions that are data-driven, science-informed, and multi-disciplinary. I bring fantasies to life through systematic and scrupulous methods, transforming ambiguous feelings into tangible data. I reinterpret disadvantages as problems that demand solutions—a stride closer to perfection.

I believe innovation is a journey instead of a destination.

Design

I envision that the ultimate design world should adhere to the grand design philosophy.

As a designer at heart, also a science geek and advocate of engineering methods, I firmly believe that one must understand human anatomy to create the most comfortable, well-fitted, and easy-to-move garment. It's essential to comprehend fabric construction to strategize optimal material allocation for the best thermal and tactile comfort. Additionally, designers need to understand the environment, the microclimate around the user, and the physiological features of the target audience to provide the most appropriate solutions.

Aesthetic design is just one facet of the many aspects of design.

I believe that design could be the final key to radical transformation.

Revolution

The remnants of the past are threads just waiting to be woven.

The world is changing at an unprecedented speed. I trust that technological evolution will eventually offset its negative impact. While embracing this revolution, I also believe it is critical that we exercise caution in the decisions we make.

As an innovator in the industry, I advocate for responsible choices with a thorough understanding of the root of each problem.

Choose sustainable options; opt for efficiency; select promising alternatives; embrace circular solutions; opt for choices that provide long-term impact; and make decisions with consideration for the next steps.

It’s all about choices, and I am committed to being a responsible change-maker.

Human - Centered

Every human-related design should prioritize humanity.

All my thoughts will be centered on enhancing people’s lives on this planet, and my solutions will always be crafted with the audience's voice in mind: how to leverage the body’s inherent functionality; how to better adapt to the environment rather than change it; how to turn challenges into opportunities…

I will continually observe, listen, and empathize; I will always design with purpose.
