ACHEIVEMENTS

  • Developed an innovative life jacket for rowing based on biomechanics and ergonomics analysis of elite rowers' performance that improved overall comfort by 83.3%. 

  • Conducted rowing motion analysis through 3D scanning and quantitative video analysis. 

  • Invented a multi-disciplinary approach for functional apparel design that applies to specific sports. 

  • Finished the Master thesis with the dissertation that approved by Cornell Human Ecology and Mechanical Engineering School.

  • Publication in ITAA 2019

ACHEIVEMENTS

  • Developed a set of Bikram Yoga Apparel that improved wearers’ mobility and comfort. 

  • Executed the design concept with the application of market research results, yogis’ dynamic anthropometric measurements, and range of motion data obtained through 3D scanning. 

  • Evaluated the prototype with long-term Bikram participants, which confirmed its improved mobility and comfort. 

  • Publication on International Textile and Apparel Association (ITAA) Annual Conference in November 2017 .
